The Invitrogen E-Gel Opener G5300-01 is a specialized device designed to efficiently open E-Gel cassettes, allowing for easy purification of DNA fragments, transfer of samples for Southern blot analysis, or post-staining of Clear E-Gels. The E-Gel Opener uses two steel blades to safely and quickly open cassettes without damaging the gel, made of anodized aluminum for maximum durability. Software not included. Typical applications include DNA purification, gel manipulation for blot analysis, and sample transfer onto membranes for analysis.
