The Invitrogen E-Gel Opener G5300-01 is a simple, yet efficient device designed to quickly open an E-Gel cassette. This allows for the purification of DNA fragments, transfer of samples onto a membrane for Southern blot analysis, and post-staining of Clear E-Gels. The E-Gel Opener uses two steel blades to quickly and safely pop open the E-Gel cassette without harming the gel. It is made of anodized aluminum for maximum durability. For lab applications, it's essential for DNA fragment analysis, sample transfer, and gel purification processes. This equipment is in new other condition and operates flawlessly. It is commonly used in molecular biology, genetics, and biochemistry laboratories. Software not included.
