The Timberline TL-600 Mobile Phase Heater is a critical component used in HPLC systems to heat the mobile phase before it enters a semi-preparative or preparative column. Operating at elevated column temperatures improves column efficiency by lowering mobile phase viscosity. It also enhances retention time reproducibility and stability, resulting in higher yields. The TL-600 comes with a separate temperature control unit which ensures accuracy and safety. It replaces water baths, making it compact, convenient, and efficient. The calibrated temperature controller maintains temperature within 0.1C of the set point.
