The 3M Zeta Plus Encapsulated Product (LG Filter) is a single-use depth filtration system designed for the bioprocessing industry in upstream cell culture clarification and downstream impurity removal. The system comes in different sizes for scale-up studies and production biomanufacturing. It features ergonomic design, robust capsule-to-capsule connection, and industry-leading Zeta Plus depth filter media. The applications include clarification of mammalian cell culture harvest, protection of downstream processes, bacteria and yeast cell lysate clarification, host cell protein removal, virus and DNA reduction, protein aggregate removal, endotoxin removal, and anti-foaming agents removal. The system operates at Inlet Pressure: 3.4 bar (50 psi) and Differential Pressure: 2.4 bar (35 psi), with a Maximum Operating Temperature of 40°C (104°F) and a Recommended Pre-use Rinse of 54 L/m (1.3 gal/ft).
