The Life Technologies E-Gel Imager Camera Hood is a compact, affordable, easy-to-use imaging system for stained gels and WesternDot 625 probestained western blots. The high-resolution digital camera allows for imaging of gels with fluorescent stains (e.g., ethidium bromide and SYBR) or colorimetric stains (Coomassie and silver stains). Additionally, this system can image western blots detected with the WesternDot 625 detection kit reagents, eliminating the need for film processing. Perfect for molecular weight separation in agarose gels, E-Gel 48, and E-Gel 96, it is compact, versatile, and designed for horizontal running. Base not included.
