The Refrigerated Roll-In Incubator has a volume of 38 cubic feet and is designed for use with Bellco's Cell Production Roller Apparatus (CPRA). It has a flush-to-floor design, convenient internal outlets, and fans that take air from the chamber top, pass it over an 1100 watt heater, and inject it into the chamber on the bottom back wall. The refrigeration mode is active through a compressor charged with R134A refrigerant. A microprocessor temperature controller and membrane keypad allows simple setting and monitoring of chamber temperature. The unit is not intended for use with CO2 environments.
