The Genetix ClonePix FL is a revolutionary cell counter that builds on the success of the white light ClonePix, adding fluorescent imaging capabilities for more intelligent cell line selection and development. This technology significantly reduces the time and costs associated with new biopharmaceutical product development, especially when compared to standard techniques such as limited dilution or cell sorting. The integrated 16-bit cooled CCD camera, combined with trans-illumination and epi-illumination for imaging, allows for superior imaging of low contrast colonies and colonies in suspension. The ClonePix FL also features software-controlled fluorescence imaging with up to 5 excitation/emission filter pairs. The system's barcode reader enables data tracking, and it offers a fully enclosed working environment with Class 100-type HEPA filtration. The picking head with 8 independently controlled pins ensures high throughput of picking speed of over 200 clones per hour. The system has a wash bath and halogen pin drying station, making it a comprehensive solution for cell line selection and development.
