The Countess II FL Automated Cell Counter is equipped with state-of-the-art optics, full autofocus, and image analysis software for rapid assessment of cells in suspension. With the flexibility of three channels - brightfield and two optional fluorescence channels - researchers can count cells, monitor fluorescent protein expression, evaluate apoptosis, and measure cell viability. Accurate - use it to eliminate the subjectivity of manual cell counting and user-to-user variability. Flexible - as it accepts up to two EVOS light cubes that are user-selectable from over twenty fluorescence channels. Fast - provides a total cell count, reports viability, and measures average cell size in as little as 10 seconds. Convenient - requires no cleaning or routine maintenance. A capacitive touchscreen and simple user interface provide quick startup and minimal training. Just a heads up, the light cubes are not included. The manufacturing specifications include a capacity for one 2-chamber disposable or 2-chamber reusable slide, ability to detect for cell sizes from 4-60 m (detection) and 7-60 m (viability), concentration detection of 1x10^4-1x10^7 cells/mL, and a display interface of 7" capacitive touch screen.
