The SMC MGPA50-50Z is a compact guide cylinder with high precision. It has a maximum pressure of 1.0MPa and is made in Japan. The new style MGP features a shorter guide rod and thinner plate, resulting in a weight reduction of up to 17% over the original MGP. This series is designed for high side load applications found in material handling, lifting, and stopping. The cylinder utilizes an ultra-compact design by incorporating the cylinder body as part of the guide body. As the stroke length increases, so does the bearing length, thus enhancing the cylinder's load-bearing capacity. The MGP offers higher load capability, longer strokes, 2 port locations, switch mounting grooves on two sides, and a more versatile T-slot mounting than the MGQ series. The cylinder is available in various bore sizes ranging from 12mm to 100mm, with strokes ranging from 10mm to 400mm, depending upon the bore size. It is a versatile and high-precision piece of equipment with a variety of potential applications in a laboratory or industrial setting.
