The Life Technologies E-Gel Imager Camera Hood REF: 4466601 is a essential component for the E-Gel Imager System, allowing real-time imaging of E-Gel cassettes during an electrophoresis run. The integrated scientific grade digital camera captures sharp, rich images and works with powerful Gel Quant Express software. This system is designed for agarose gel electrophoresis, DNA and RNA purification and analysis, and nucleic acid gel electrophoresis and blotting. Software not included. The E-Gel Camera Hood provides flexibility to use multiple gel stains with three interchangeable bases that allow real-time image capture while samples are running on the gel. The UV Light Base is best for ethidium bromide, the Blue Light Base can be used for many SYBR™ dyes like SYBR Safe dye, and the E-Gel Adaptor Base allows real-time image capture while E-Gel cassettes are running inside the E-Gel Imager.
