The Applied Biosystems 7300 is a reliable tool which combines thermal cycling with fluorescence detection that measures cycle by cycle accrual. This small but robust PCR takes up less space than the Applied Biosystems 7900HT. The ABI 7300 is great for quantifying nucleic acid sequences without compromising data. It works with a number of different dye choices and runs on its software platform. Quantitative results are available immediately, once PCR run is complete. It can run a complete Real-Time PCR in less than two hours using tubes, 96-well plates, or 8-strip tubes. It is ideal for applications such as SNP genotyping, pathogen quantification, isothermal, gene expression analysis, and assays using internal positive controls. The ABI qPCR software control software comes equipped with simple step-by-step wizard instruction to help set up assays.
