The Life Technologies XR-NRE2-6U IT Rack is a 6 RU, blackXRackPro Noise Reduction Server Rack Enclosure and is designed for noise reduction and security. The rack can be used for RAID storage, routers, as well as other systems such as Apple (Xserve server and Xserve RAID), Windows (Dell, HP, IBM, etc.), Linux, Sun, SGI, and other PC computer rackmount servers and storage devices. Noise from the rackmount systems mounted inside the XRackPro2 6 RU server rack will be reduced by as much as 80% from the sound-dampening design, while keeping everything cool at the same time with two whisper-quiet fans. The rack features heavy-duty, steel construction, and all rackmount servers, storage solutions, and other equipment stay visible through the sealed-glass front door.
