The CUNO 12ZPC2 is a second generation sanitary filter housing tank of the Zeta Plus line. The tanks are ideally suited to use Zeta Plus Cartridges (ZPC) for the filtration of liquids. The instrument is designed to accommodate one to four of these cartridges, each of which can easily be changed. This housing system provides an enclosed system to eliminate loss of valuable products due to leakage and external contamination. ZPC has an advantage over conventional plate and frame filters as it requires less frequent sanitation. The stainless steel exterior reduces the growth of bacteria or particle adhesion. The CUNO 12ZPC2 is a versatile piece of equipment suitable for laboratory or industrial filtration processes. It is commonly used for clarifying, sterilizing, and virus filtration of liquid products in the pharmaceutical and biotech industry.
