The pump's quiet operation and chemical resistance make it suitable for use in acidic environments, such as with HCl, TFA, Acetic, or Formic Acids. The pump is specifically developed for gel drying applications, it delivers maximum reliability with reduced maintenance, and it is Teflon-coated. The self-cleaning pre-trap offers pump protection, and the one-liter post-pump solvent recovery vessel allows for the safe collection and easy disposal of condensed solvents. Notably, the Gel Pump is the only vacuum pump on the market that can be equipped with a trap for radioactivity, providing the safest possible environment for gel drying applications.
