The Life Technologies 4466602 UV Light Base is a compact UV light transilluminator with built-in safety features for documenting and analyzing agarose gels and E-Gel cassettes stained with ethidium bromide. This unit is a part of the E-Gel Imager system and is designed for use in a laboratory setting. The E-Gel Imager UV Light Base also has an internal power supply port to allow operation of the E-Gel iBase power system without running cables or wires under the hood or through a door.
