The GE AKTApilot Liquid Chromatography System (LC) 56317181 is a high performance, automated liquid chromatography system with slight wear from normal use. It is designed for process development, process scale-up and scale down, and small-scale production. The biocompatible, hygienic and subitizable system meets all GLP and cGMP demands for Phase IIII in drug development and small-scale production. The system has liquid flow rates from 4 to 800 ml/min, with operating pressure up to 20 bar. It consists of AKTApilot separation unit, the connected computer including a flat-screen monitor, and UNICORN control system. The equipment features detectors for continuous in-line measurement of pH, conductivity and UV absorbance, reliable monitoring through self-test and self-calibration, and pre-programmed method templates for rapid media screening, method scouting and optimization as well as scale up experiments.
