The GE AKTApilot Liquid Chromatography System (LC) 56317181 is a high performance, automated liquid chromatography system suitable for process development, process scale-up and scale down, and small-scale production. It meets GLP and cGMP demands for Phase IIII in drug development and small-scale production. The system features biocompatibility, hygienic design, and subitizable components. With liquid flow rates from 4 to 800 ml/min and operating pressure up to 20 bar, it is versatile for various applications. The AKTApilot contains all fluid handling components required for buffer delivery and mixing, sample application, and in-line monitoring. It is equipped with detectors for continuous in-line measurement of pH, conductivity, and UV absorbance, providing accurate and reliable monitoring through self-test and self-calibration. The system also includes pre-programmed method templates, optimized system configurations, and convenient sample application and column packing capabilities. Unfortunately, software is not included. Typical applications include automatic media screening, method scouting and optimization, as well as scale-up experiments.
