The Edwards RV3 Vacuum Pump is a dual-stage rotary vane mechanical pump that offers a peak pumping speed of 2.6 cfm at 60hz and an ultimate pressure of 1.5x10-3 Torr (2x10-3 mbar). It has a maximum vapor inlet pressure of 60 torr and a maximum water vapor capacity of 220 grams per hour. With a relatively light weight of 47 pounds and dimensions of 16.9 inches long, 6.2 inches wide, and 8.9 inches tall, this model is both lightweight and transportable. The pump uses Ultra grade 19 oil and has an oil capacity of 0.70 liters. It can operate at temperatures ranging from 12 to 40 degrees Celsius and runs at a very quiet noise level of only 48 dB(A).
