The T-Rex refractometer with extended range features 256 times the detection power and 50 times the dynamic range of every RI detector available today. Using semiconductor photodiode technology and proprietary algorithms, it achieves an unprecedented combination of sensitivity and range, with a flow cell volume 25% less than other refractometers. This allows minimized band broadening and better temperature stability. The T-Rex not only measures the absolute refractive index of a solution but also the dn/dc of a solvent at the same wavelength of light as the light-scattering instrument. It's a great addition for all HPLC systems and can be programmed down to 4C or as high as 50C. Exciting, isn't it?
