The CBS Scientific PCR Workstations Dead Air Box P-030-02 is a preowned system in excellent cosmetic condition, with UV, lights, timer all working. It includes acid-resistant Formica work surface, tempered safety-glass fascia, duplex electrical outlet mounted in the ceiling, two fluorescent lamps mounted in stainless-steel ceiling, and single or dual UV germicidal lamp with a 12-hour countdown timer. This PCR Enclosure protects against contamination in sensitive PCR amplification reactions. The system blocks the replication of contaminating DNA sequences, protects against cross- or airborne contamination, and delivers an exceptional workspace visibility. It can be utilized to decontaminate apparatus and reagents, and the dual UV bulbs deliver twice the UV intensity compared to single bulbs. This system is ideal for any laboratory working with PCR amplification reactions, providing a safe and controlled environment to work with sensitive DNA samples. The included timed decontamination UV lamp is useful for maintaining a contamination-free workspace. Software is not included. This equipment is a critical tool for maintaining a controlled environment in PCR applications.
