The VWR / Sheldon 1430M Vacuum Oven is a durable instrument with a stainless-steel chamber designed to meet UL, CSA, and CE Safety requirements. This oven is ideal for a wide range of R&D and industrial applications. It comes with a positive latch handle and cross-flow ventilation, capable of forty-step ramp with four soak profiles. Operating at temperatures of 10°C above ambient to 260°C, it is equipped with a vacuum gauge and has double doors with gaskets, allowing the viewing of samples. The unit is microprocessor-controlled and maintains a temperature uniformity of ±4% of set point. With a 1.7 cu.ft. capacity, this vacuum oven is a versatile and highly functional tool for laboratory use. It is often used for processes such as drying, curing, outgassing, aging, process control, and other applications that require elevated temperature in a vacuum environment.
