The Sutter Instrument LB-LS/30 Lambda Xenon Arc Lamp Illuminator System is a stand-alone illuminator that provides flat, intense illumination to the optical train of microscopes or other instrumentation. It is designed to work with a liquid light guide and is compatible with most common microscope systems. The xenon arc lamp has a pre-aligned bulb, an internal cold mirror, and a power input of 120/240V 50/60Hz. It emits ozone-free and full spectrum light, and offers radiant output of 2.5 Watts (175W lamp) or 4.5 Watts (300W lamp). The system comes with a SmartShutter motorized optical shutter but does not include a drop-in filter wheel module. It is used and has been tested to verify its functionality to the extent possible, despite missing the bulb light. Cosmetic blemishes are present due to normal use, and the unit powers on. The unit requires a liquid light guide for operation, which is not included. Software is not included. This equipment can be used for fluorescence microscopy, live-cell imaging, and in vitro fertilization applications.
