The Ion Torrent / Life Technologies Ion Chef System FOR PARTS model 4247 is an advanced laboratory instrument designed to streamline workflow by providing automated library preparation, template preparation, and chip loading for users at any experience level. This equipment optimizes productivity by reducing upfront hands-on time to under 15 minutes, allowing equalized, pooled libraries ready for templating. This system supports Ion AmpliSeq one- and two-pool designs, and after library preparation, requires less than 15 minutes of hands-on time to set up fully-automated template preparation, producing one or two chips ready for sequencing. The equipment features Chip Compatibility with various Ion Chips, a Current Limit of 14 A (max), and is suitable for use with multiple Ion Systems. This instrument is in Class 4 - As-Is condition, is intended for parts or not working. Although sold as-is with no warranty, it powers on, but does not pass factory tests, presenting a Z-Axis Error and Error Code 32.
