This personal-sized thermal cycler with dimensions of only 21 cm wide and 36 cm deep offers versatile use and can fit almost anywhere in the laboratory. The cooling vents at the back allow safe placement in tight spaces, optimizing valuable bench space. The 2720 Thermal Cycler provides standard fixed ramp speeds, time and temperature auto-extend/auto-decrease, programmable pauses, date/time capability, auto-restart after power disruption, and temperature verification. It has a reaction volume range of 10-100 L and boasts a max sample ramp rate of 2.6C/sec and a max block ramp rate of 2.7C/sec. Calibrated to standards traceable to the National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST), the temperature uniformity is 0.5C 30 seconds after reaching 95C. This thermal cycler operates within a temperature range of 4.0-99.9C and features the highly demanded 96-well block format.
