The Applied Biosystems 7500 Real-Time PCR System is a 96-well, five-color platform that uses fluorescence-based polymerase chain reaction (PCR) reagents to provide quantitative and qualitative detection of target nucleic acid sequences using real-time and post-PCR analysis. It also offers qualitative analysis of the PCR product achieved by melt curve analysis post-PCR. It collects raw fluorescence data at different points during PCR and consists of three phases: excitation, emission, and collection. This system is used in research laboratories and diagnostic workflows, enabling faster and efficient nucleic acid analysis.
