The Invitrogen Countess II FL AMQAF1000 Cell Counter is a sophisticated automated cell counter used for the rapid assessment of cells in suspension. It is equipped with state-of-the-art optics, full autofocus, and image analysis software. The counting platform offers three-channel flexibility, utilizing brightfield and two optional fluorescence channels, enabling researchers to count cells, monitor fluorescent protein expression, evaluate apoptosis, and measure cell viability. The Countess II FL provides an accurate, fast, and flexible solution for the elimination of subjectivity in manual cell counting, user-to-user variability, ensuring quick viability assessment and data transfer to a PC. With a measurement range from 1 x 10e4 to 1 x 10e7 cells/mL, the optimal range for viability assessment is found to be 1 x 10e5 to 4 x 10e6 cells/mL. This device accepts up to two EVOS light cubes, and the sophisticated image analysis algorithm allows the counting of particles as small as 4 µm. The Countess II FL requires no cleaning or routine maintenance, and the simplicity in operation makes it convenient for users with minimal training. Please note that the sale does not include the light cube.
