The AutoMate Express Forensic DNA Extraction System is an easy to use, robust bench-top instrument that utilizes the PrepFiler Express and PrepFiler Express BTA chemistries packaged in pre-filled, foil sealed cartridges. We have designed the PrepFiler chemistry specifically to improve the quantity and quality of DNA isolated from forensic samples, thereby increasing the potential to obtain maximum information from downstream Short Tandem Repeat (STR) analysis. This system is manufactured to improve the quantity and quality of DNA isolated from forensic samples, thus enhancing the potential to obtain maximum information from downstream STR analysis. It has a capacity of 1 to 13 samples per run and dimensions of 20" W x 22" D x 22.5" H. The reaction time is 30 minutes for up to 13 samples. The Software Functionality includes a 512 KB Flash memory card pre-programmed with purification protocol.
