The Ion OneTouch 2 Instrument and Ion OneTouch ES Enrichment Module is a high-throughput DNA Sequencer system used for template amplification and enrichment in the manual workflow for the Ion PGM, Ion Proton, and Ion S5 and S5 XL systems. This system effectively prepares scalable templates for all Ion semiconductor chips and integrates multiple manual preparation steps into a single automated workflow. It reduces the time from sample to sequence to a single day and processes multiple samples per day. The heart of the Ion OneTouch 2 Instrument consists of three groundbreaking technologies that allow automated delivery of the template Ion Sphere particles. With an advanced peristaltic pump, gas is no longer required. The Ion OneTouch 2 Instrument and Ion OneTouch ES exponentially accelerate the experiments and exponentially decrease the total time to execute the project.
