Position Overview

The Operations Support Specialist plays a critical role in the movement, processing, and management of incoming and outgoing inventory across REUZEit’s warehouses, client sites, and field operations. This position supports fulfillment, logistics, client-facing pick-ups, and on-site project work while maintaining the highest levels of accuracy, safety, efficiency, and professionalism.

This is a hands-on, physically active role that directly impacts our asset quality, client satisfaction, and operational success.

Key Responsibilities

Inventory Handling & Warehouse Operations:

  • Receive, document, and stage incoming inventory.
  • Prepare and load outgoing inventory for shipments and transfers.
  • Safely operate forklifts and warehouse equipment (training provided).
  • Move, lift, and palletize materials as required.
  • Execute inventory processing: tagging, photographing, condition-level review, and system updates.
  • Maintain organized warehouse spaces, aisles, and staging areas.

Fulfillment & Processing:

  • Support order picking, packing, and shipping.
  • Assist service technicians with basic equipment handling.
  • Ensure accuracy and order completeness prior to shipment.
  • Work with the Operations Manager to meet daily and weekly fulfillment goals.

Field Operations & Client-Facing Work:

  • Conduct on-site client pick-ups, asset removals, and small project support.
  • Represent REUZEit professionally to clients and partners.
  • Support relationship building with client representatives during pick-ups and site services.
  • Interact directly with Client Services, Project Managers, and warehouse teams to ensure smooth project execution.

Service Technician Assistance Responsibilities:

  • Assist in diagnostics and functional testing of high-tech laboratory and industrial equipment.
  • Support troubleshooting of mechanical, electrical, and software-related issues under technician supervision.
  • Perform disassembly, cleaning, repair, and reassembly of equipment components.
  • Help identify faulty or worn parts and assist in sourcing or replacement.
  • Document equipment condition, repair actions, and part usage accurately.
  • Photograph equipment before and after refurbishment for listing and record-keeping.
  • Maintain tools, service bays, and technician work areas in clean, organized condition.
  • Follow standard operating procedures (SOPs) and safety guidelines for service work.
  • Collaborate with technicians, warehouse, and logistics teams to ensure timely workflow.
  • Stage equipment for diagnostic evaluation and organize completed units for shipping or redeployment.

Transportation & Travel:

  • Operate REUZEit box trucks and vehicles for asset pick-ups and deliveries (no special license required).
  • Perform local travel regularly and out-of-state travel occasionally, based on project needs.
  • Assist in multi-day site closure projects when needed.

Reporting, Documentation & Data Entry:

  • Complete pickup reports, condition notes, and inventory logs with accuracy.
  • Enter data into REUZEit’s platform and project management tools.
  • Communicate project needs and status to Operations and Client Services leadership.
  • Maintain clear documentation for insurance, chain of custody, and compliance requirements.

Cross-Department Collaboration:

  • Coordinate with Operations, Client Services, Sales, and Project Management teams.
  • Support process improvements and workflow enhancements.
  • Contribute to a safe, positive, and collaborative working environment.

Qualifications

Required:

  • Valid driver’s license with clean driving record.
  • Ability to lift 50–75 lbs repeatedly.
  • Strong work ethic and attention to detail.
  • Comfort working in fast-paced warehouse and client-site environments.
  • Professional communication skills, especially client-facing.
  • Basic computer skills (data entry, email, reporting).

Preferred (Nice to Have):

  • Forklift experience
  • Experience with shipping systems, warehouse operations, or logistics.
  • Experience working with technical equipment (lab, industrial, or mechanical) is a plus.
  • Prior roles in fulfillment, warehouse, field service, or logistics.
