CytoFLEX S Flow Cytometers are an extension of the CytoFLEX Platform that deliver superior performance and expand research possibilities, offering up to four lasers and 13 fluorescent channels. The system features a compact footprint, integrated detection optics and lasers, and a simplified, highly reliable fluidics system. It has multiple band pass filters for detection of fluorescent proteins as well as near ultraviolet dyes. The laser system can be configured with up to four spatially-separated lasers and features automatic adjustments for optimum performance. The system's Carryover is optimized for single tube format (< 1.0%) and plate loader format (< 0.5%). It achieves 3% rCV with alignment verification particles capable of rCVs <3%. The fluidics system offers ultra-low pressure peristaltic sheath and sample delivery, with fixed and custom flow rates, automated maintenance cycles, and multiple sample input formats. The CytExpert Software is fully featured and allows exportable file formats for offline analysis. It can be operated in English and Chinese, is compatible with Windows® 7 Professional 64-bit, with FCS 3.0 format. The system has a nominal acquisition rate of 30,000 events per second and features fully digital signal processing with acquisition of multiple signal parameters. The compact installation dimensions make it versatile for lab settings. The CytoFLEX S system operates at a voltage of 100–240 V with power specifications ranging from 150 -250 W and operates within an operating temperature range of 15-27 °C, 59-80.6 °F.
