The Applied Biosystems 7500 Fast Real-Time PCR System offers maximum performance in the minimum time. Fully optimized for Fast cycling, the 7500 Fast delivers high-quality results in as little as 30 minutes. The specially designed Fast block ensures thermal uniformity at top speeds. Faster ramp rates enable rapid results without compromising extension times or assay quality. The Fast optical plates ensure excellent precision in 10-30 ul reaction volumes. Use TaqMan Fast Universal PCR Master Mix to run multiple Fast assays on one plate. This system is equivalent to the 7500 System, offering excellent performance. It provides a dynamic range of 9 logs of linear dynamic range, precise reaction volumes between 10-30 ul, and a calibration with various dyes including Cy3, Cy5, and ROX. It distinguishes between 5,000 - 10,000 genome equivalents (two-fold copy number difference) with 99.7% confidence. The thermal cycling system is Peltier-Based, with temperature accuracy of ±0.5C and uniformity of ±1C. The system has a peak block ramp rate of 5.5C/sec and can perform 4 to 5 96-well plates per day. This product can detect sensitivity of down to 1 copy of human RNAse P gene.
