The Hamamatsu ORCA-ER Digital Camera C4742-95 & Controller is a black and white CCD digital camera that utilizes an advanced progressive scan interline CCD chip with high sensitivity in the VIS-NIR (visible near-infrared) region. This camera offers substantially better noise characteristics at high frame rates. The hermetic vacuum-sealed head is Peltier cooled and capable of reaching -20C, thus reducing dark noise and minimizing thermal drift. These features make this camera an ideal choice for demanding scientific and industrial applications. It is a great choice for both high and low level imaging applications.
