The thermal block format is 96-well plate, non-interchangeable with a max heating rate of 6.5C/sec. The system comes with bright white LED excitation and 6 decoupled filters for detection. Its dye compatibility ranges from FAM/SYBR Green to various other chemistries like VIC/JOE/HEX/TET, ABY/NED/TAMRA/Cy3, JUN, ROX/Texas Red, MUSTANG PURPLE, Cy5/LIZ, Cy 5.5. The volume of the thermal block sample is 0.2mL. This system is ideally used for real-time PCR (qPCR).
