Introducing the Princeton Instruments PIXIS 1340B camera, a fully integrated piece of equipment that delivers low noise, high Quantum Efficiency (QE), and ultra-low noise electronics. This used, Class 2 condition camera provides thermoelectric cooling down to -80C and is perfect for demanding, low light applications such as Raman spectroscopy, photo- and electroluminescence, fluorescence, and reflectance spectroscopy. Manufactured with PIs exclusive XP cooling technology, the PIXIS series is developed for quantitative scientific optical spectroscopy applications. With Princeton Instruments exclusive eXcelon technology, this camera has the highest sensitivity available from the deep UV to the NIR, suppressing the etaloning that occurs in conventional back-thinned devices. The PIXIS 1340B camera is optically centered for easy use and comes with a Princeton Instruments Acton spectrometer adapter with optional shutter. Its thermoelectric air or liquid cooling method along with thermoelectric air or liquid cooling method ensures consistent operation. The camera has a unique all-metal, hermetically sealed design.
