The Invitrogen E-Gel Power Snap Electrophoresis System offers speedy electrophoresis in as little as 15 minutes, allowing you to watch in real time. This bench-top electrophoresis system is ideal for DNA sample loading, gel imaging, and simplifying your workflow. The E-Gel utilizes precast agarose gels with corresponding pre-programmed protocols, drastically cutting run time. The on-board software and imaging allows you to capture and process images on the spot. High-resolution, 1600 x 1944 (3MP) images captured by the E-Gel Power Snap can be stored on the device or transferred to a USB key. This electrophoresis system uses a blue light transilluminator at 465 nm and an amber filter, resulting in safer and better results when cloning versus ethidium bromide/UV. The Power Snap Electrophoresis System features an array of 12 high-power LEDs with emission wavelength at 465 10 nm, as well as a touch-screen LCD display. The Power Snap camera, equipped with touch-screen LCD display, has gel-image resolution of 1,600 x 1,944 (3 MP) and a dynamic range of 68 dB, and outputs images in TIF and JPG file formats.
