The VWR Scientific DMS-2500 High Speed Micro Plate Shaker is a powerful, programmable shaker, equipment designed for the modern molecular biology laboratory. It boasts the capability of serving molecular biology applications, mechanical and chemical cell lysis, mixing tissue samples, mixing cytogenetic suspensions, and vortexing cell suspensions. It can hold up to 48 microplates up to 12.7 cm (5 in) high. The programmable digital speed control ranges from 600 to 2500 rpm and includes a digital timer from 1-9999 seconds (166 minutes), exhibiting a pulse on/off feature for enhanced mixing action.
