The GE Healthcare BPG 300/500 Glass Chromatography Column is designed for hygienic operation and easy, efficient packing. Glass column tube allows efficient and reproducible packing. Material Certificates Reports (BPG MCR) are available for ordering. The hygienic design and operation prevent microbial attachment and growth through the use of calibrated precision glass, high-grade electropolished stainless steel, and an absence of dead pockets. All polymeric materials meet the requirements for USP class VI, described in USP <88> Biological Reactivity Tests, in vivo. This column is ideal for process development or biopharmaceutical manufacture, with a column cross section area of 78.5 cm and a footprint of 480 x 480 mm. It has an inlet dimension i.d. of 4mm and an operating pressure max of 8 bar (116.03 psi) with an operating temperature range of 4C-40C.
