The Life Technologies 4466601 E-Gel Imager is a compact, affordable, easy-to-use imaging system for stained gels and Invitrogen WesternDot 625 probestained western blots. Equipped with a high-resolution digital camera, the E-Gel system can be used to image gels incorporating fluorescent stains (e.g., ethidium bromide and Invitrogen SYBR stains) or colorimetric stains (Invitrogen Coomassie and silver stains). The system is capable of imaging western blots detected with the WesternDot 625 detection kit reagents, avoiding the need for film processing. This system is from the year 2018 and is in used condition. Typical applications include analyzing stained gels and western blots in molecular biology, genetics, and protein research laboratories.
