The Olympus BH2-UMA Microscope is a versatile and powerful tool for reflected light (Episcopic) microscopy, equipped with a built-in Halogen light transformer that allows for the adjustment of Tungsten Halogen lamp intensity. This enables the illumination of varied samples, including opaque to semitransparent 4 diameter wafers, glass slides, and small samples, for bright field or darkfield viewing. The Olympus BH2-UMA also includes a Nikon C-POL Polarizing attachment, as well as Mitutoyo M Plan Apo 5x/0.14 and 10x/0.28 lens. This equipment is ideal for wafer inspection and offers a variety of lighting schemes ranging from on-axis from above to oblique.
