Climet Instruments Microbial Air Sampler CI-90+-101 is a quirky yet powerful microbial air sampler that's been unit tested to specs, and buyers can expect a working item with a 30-day warranty. The CLiMET 90 (CI-90) is designed to capture biological active particles such as fungi and bacteria onto a petri dish loaded with nutrient agar. The sample can then be incubated to grow the captured microbes, and the colonies formed after incubation are counted to determine the concentration of CFUs (colony forming units) present in the air sample. It has a sample flow rate of 99 liters per minute (0.10 cubic meters or 3.53 cubic feet per minute) with electronic, automatic closed-loop flow rate control. The battery is replaceable 9.6 Volts, 7.6 Amp hour Nickel Metal Hydride, offering 7.5 to 9 hours of continuous operation with a 4.0 to 4.5 hours battery charge time.
