The Arcturus LCC1801 Microdissection Microscope is a sophisticated tool offering laser-enabled capture micro dissection and ultraviolet laser cutting in one instrument. This LCM instrument capably isolates cells two ways, with a gentle IR laser capture micro dissection without damage to the morphology of the cells, or a powerful precise UV laser for dense tissue structures capturing a large number of cells at once. This laboratory microscope offers flexibility with various sample types thanks to many stage inserts that can be swapped based on sample needs such as wide format, or petri dish. Ideal for use with formalin-fixed, paraffin-embedded FFPE sections, for archival pathological material, as well as frozen tissue and cytological specimens. The dual laser system of this LCM instrument makes it ideal for a broad range of applications such as molecular biology, histology, and clinical research or diagnostics.
