The BioRad iCycler is a robust system that can handle the everyday demand of PCR applications. It features an easy-to-use Graphic User Interface (GUI), built-in PCR protocols, a gradient feature, and the ability to upgrade to a real-time qPCR system. The BioRad Thermal Cycler applications include gene expression studies, gene amplification, clinical diagnostics, measurements for viral load, and pathogen detection, among others. A built-in Gradient feature accommodates 0.2l and 0.5l tubes, strips, and plates, with temperature monitoring and a Gradient range of 125C. The temperature range lies between -20C to 60C during ambient storage. The system is equipped with temperature control and a LCD Quarter VGA screen with backlight providing ease of use.
