The Life Technologies DNA Sequencer A27765 is a new, cutting-edge piece of equipment for molecular biology. It is designed for use with the Ion S5 and S5 XL Sequencing Systems. This advanced DNA Sequencer is capable of polymerase-driven base incorporation detection without fluorescence. The Ion 540 Chip Kit included with the sequencer contains 4 barcoded chips for sample tracking, enabling rapid sequencing times of as little as 2.5 hours for 200 bp sequencing. This kit also supports a range of research applications, including sequencing of up to three human exomes, transcriptome profiling, and targeted resequencing of gene panels. It allows for easy handling and loading of templated products for sequencing and is compatible with current library preparation methods. Notably, this DNA Sequencer kit is only compatible with the Ion S5 and Ion S5 XL systems, and it is suggested to use it with the Ion 540 Kit-Chef and the Ion 540 Kit-OT2.
