It comes with adapters to accommodate major microtube and PCR tube styles, allowing for customized use. The centrifuge housing is made from ABS plastic and the lid from polycarbonate plastic, making it easy to clean. It has a braking function, quickly stopping the unit when powered off or the lid is opened. This Mini Centrifuge meets the latest safety requirements, has a weighted rubberized base to dampen vibration and noise, and a locking lid for added protection during use. It has a capacity of 6 x 1.5/2 mL tubes, max. RCF of 2,000 x g, a width of 5.03 inches, and operates at a max speed of 6,000 rpm.
