The Bruker SKYSCAN 1176 is a high performance in vivo micro-CT scanner. The large format 11 megapixel x-ray camera gives an unrivalled combination of resolution, image field size and scan speed, making it ideal for busy and demanding biomedical research laboratories. With a maximum image field width of 68mm, it allows full body mouse and rat scanning and distal limb scanning for big animals, such as rabbits, at pixel sizes of 9, 18 and 35m. The x-ray source ranges from 20-90kV, 25W, with a 6-position automatic filter changer. The 11Mp x-ray detector provides normal resolutions of 9m / 18m / 35m user selected. It offers reconstructed volume of up to 8000x8000x2500 Pixels, scanning space of 68 mm in diameter, 200 mm in length, and a max scanning speed of 1 min for 1000 x 1000 Pixels in every slice. The integrated physiological monitoring includes breathing, ECG, and movement detection. This equipment is suitable for preclinical research, such as imaging bone, soft tissue, lungs, vasculature, and other applications. It's also ideal for pharmaceutical research, material science, and non-destructive testing. The system is used, but comes with a 30-Day Warranty, covering 100% of parts and labor.
