The ABgene ALPS-300 Microplate Sealer is an automated heat sealer ideal for medium to high throughput applications. Despite needing repairs, this device is capable of sealing approximately 6 plates per minute, allowing up to 5,000 plates to be processed automatically without intervention. Its touchscreen control offers flexible mechanisms and compact dimensions for manual as well as robotic integration. It works with most commercially available plate stackers and is compatible without hardware changes with a wide variety of plates including 96-well PCR, low profile, skirted, semi-skirted, and more. This efficient piece of equipment operates manually via touchscreen, foot pedal, remote start, or RS-232 connection. The touch screen readings are not clear, but it still boasts impressive functionality and is suitable for various laboratory plate sealing applications.
