The Mini Gel Tank by Life Technologies is a vertical mini-gel electrophoresis system with a unique tank design that allows for side-by-side gel loading and enhanced visibility during use. It can accommodate up to two gels per run in separate chambers, making it versatile for various experiments. This used equipment, in excellent condition, is ideal for running one or two mini gels and is compatible with all Invitrogen pre-cast mini gels and Sure Cast hand cast gels. Anecdotal insights reveal that this tank is also suitable for wet tank transfers using the Mini Blot Module, requiring less transfer buffer, which keeps the methanol needed to a minimum.
