This trap is designed for pristine pumping systems to prevent the migration of rotary pump oil mist. With an activated alumina sorbent, it boasts impressive oil mist trapping properties (99.7%) with a very long lifespan before saturation. The trap can even be rejuvenated by baking the sorbent-containing basket. This particular model is most efficacious with two-stage rotary pumps running under 1 mbar. As for practical use, it's invaluable to ensure the sorbent life is maximized by installing the FL20K near the vacuum system.
