The Molecular Devices SpectraMax Plus 384 is a UV/Vis spectrophotometer and microplate reader capable of reading any standard cuvette, microcuvette, test tube or 96- and 384-well standard or UV transparent microplate over a full 190 to 1000 nm wavelength range. It is equipped with a high-precision nine-channel system and a robust path check sensor that makes it a reliable tool for applications such as DNA and RNA analysis, ELISAs and immunoassays, cell viability, protein quantitation, and endotoxin detection, offering fast and reliable data reporting. The system includes a monochromator, a built-in cuvette port, and a programmable linear and orbital plate shaking device, among other high-precision features. This particular unit has been tested for basic power function, without any error messages. While software is not included, it does come with a 30-day warranty.
