The Bio Rad Criterion Mini Vertical Electrophoresis Cell is an electrophoresis cell dedicated to running one or two Criterion gels. It is wider and longer than traditional mini gels, allowing up to 26 samples to be run in less than 1 hour with a single Criterion gel. It can also accommodate 11 cm Ready Strip IPG strips for 2-D applications. The large buffer volume helps to maintain cool gels and constant pH, and it can auto switch off when the lid is removed. Although unable to power on or fully test, this unit seems to be functioning and has slight cosmetic blemishes from normal use.
