Biotek ELx405 Select Plate Washer with Bio Stack 2WR has been tested to specifications. It has slight cosmetic blemishes from normal use. The ELx405 Select is the first deep well plate washer that aspirates and dispenses into 96- and 384-well deep well and standard height microplates. This model, featuring the patented ultrasonic advantage, is designed for specialized applications such as serum and plasma preparation, Elisa, and cell culture. It easily handles a broad range of applications in standard 96- and 384-well plates, including sensitive cell-based assays. The system automates and cleans manifold tubes to remove built-up salt and protein. Applications include plasmid DNA purification, bead washing, and beyond. It is an ideal solution for cell culture, plasmid DNA preparation, and magnetic and polystyrene bead protocols. The ELx405 Select comes with Agilent BioTek Liquid Handling Control (LHC2) PC software, programmable shaking and soaking, manifold types for various wash cycles, and auto switching module for up to four buffers. The stereoscopic design allows for optimization from high to low flow rates with sterilization and power rated at 100-240 volts AC at 50-60 Hz.
